The theatre has three main parts in accordance with the traditions of ancient times. They are the Skene (stage building), Orchestra (half round) and the cavea (seating levels). The seats are carved into soft rocks, built into the hillside and there are 53 rows and has a capacity of 13.000 people. The interesting figures of the theatre is an altar for the sake of the victims dedicated for Dionysus and the holes amongst some seats might have been used for canopy.
