The north and the north east of Serefler village are filled with completely full of historical structures. It is assumed that a castle, rock tombs, city walls etc. belonged to different eras. It is accepted as the extended form of Lydae, Lissa and Caria ancient settlements at Kapıdag peninsula. The area was reigned by Caria at first and then controlled by Lycia at the period of Perikles. The Kings Tombs have remained from Lycia. The city walls and castle have remained from Byzantine as well. Kozpınar was known as a stop over for commerce travellers and today it is still used for travellers.
