Oktapolis ancient city is established at the boundaries of today's Elcik, Sabunlu and Kızılkaya villages. The name of the city was read on the inscriptions by Ptolemy and Herbez; it has been determined that it is named OKTAPOLIS EIGHT CITIES.
The rock tombs are come across on the scars covering the north part of Kayadibi village and belonged to the Lycia era. However, the other ruins belonged to Roman and Byzantium eras. It is hard to climb or get to the tombs as they were built on steep rocks. The ancient city walls may partly be encountered. The city walls are to be accepted to form the boundaries of Oktapolis city that involves the ruins of cellars and dwellings.
