What to eat


With lots of flavour and its high quality, pine honey is famous for Marmaris. Its marine products, fast food, Turkish and World cuisines, there are plenty of choices along Marmaris streets. Restaurants specializing in Chinese, Italian, British and Indian dishes are to be found everywhere. Fish restaurants around the pier and Marina, also Icmeler, Turunc, Orhaniye, Selimiye, Bozburun,Akyaka, Ciftlik,  Sogut and Saranda townships are good for Turkish cuisine. The variety of international cuisine and pizza can be found in Marmaris town center.  Traditional Turkish meals such as turkish pancakes, village breakfast, dumplings, etc are popular for Icmeler and Armutalan. There are plenty of seaside restaurants to eat at. Open buffets serving with both the local cuisine and international cuisine are available in the hotels.

Ingredients: 1 of any big fish such as laos, sturgeon, trance, big mullet or red sea bream, 1 tomato, 1 potato, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, pinch of parsley, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, 2 tablespoon olive oil, pinch of cumin, 1 tablespoon lemon sour or juice.
