Bozburun is much known by yachtsmen. It is one of the most untouched places of the region. It is recommended for those who want a quiet vacation. There are no large facilities. You can find small but high-quality facilities. The city centre is located in one of the bays of Sombeki Gulf. The region is not as busy as the other places like Marmaris.

There are small hotels, pensions, restaurants, very good fishing restaurants. The best gullets are built here. There are numerous tranquil bays situated around the area that can be easily reached by boats.

Boat trips are organised from Bozborun harbour to the bays and the nearby islands. The ruins of Larymna settlements have been found on Asar Hill nearby Bozburun. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the Hill. The remains of the city walls and  tombs scattered around. Bozburun looks beautiful over the hill.

How to get there?

There are two separate roads to get to Bozborun from Marmaris. The first option is that you can drive on the Datca road, follow the detour of Hisaronu along the coastal road. This is totally 45km. Hisaronu, Orhaniye and Selimiye are on that road. You can also get to Bozburun via Icmeler-Bayır by driving towards the south. 24 km on the twisty road from Bayır is passed by Sogut Village. There is a regular minibus service between Bozburun and Marmaris.
